Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our dynamic HR team. In this vital role, you will support a wide range of human resources functions, ensuring smooth operations and fostering a positive workplace environment. Your energetic approach and strong organizational skills will contribute to effective talent management, employee relations, and compliance initiatives.
Responsibilities
- New hire application process (collecting required employment information such as background checks, reference checks, resumes, I-9, state tax form, W-4 form, insurance enrollment forms, inform staff of fringe benefits etc.)
- Processing payroll
- Maintaining organized and current employee files
- Liaison between the organization and insurance brokers
- Credential providers for DC & Md. Medicaid, Medicare, and Private Insurance
- Assist and advise providers in updating all credentialing documentation
- Work with the Grants and Contract Manager to assist with inputting invoice data into the EGMS system monthly
Skills
- 5+ years of working experience in Healthcare facility
- Familiarity with HR software systems such as Workday, Paychex, Kronos, ADP, or PeopleSoft for efficient HR operations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all organizational levels.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
