Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Welder/Fabricator/Fitter to join our manufacturing and construction teams. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and fitting metal components with precision and expertise. Your work will contribute to the creation and assembly of high-quality structures, ductwork, piping systems, and custom fabrications. Duties
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and assembly processes.
- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding)
- Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to shape sheet metal, ductwork, and structural components.
- Measure materials precisely using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments; perform basic math calculations for dimensions and tolerances.
- Fabricate components by cutting, bending, welding, soldering, and assembling parts according to schematics and specifications.
- Operate rigging equipment such as cranes and forklifts safely for lifting heavy materials during fabrication or installation.
- Assist in pipe threading, machining operations, or assembly tasks as needed on construction sites or manufacturing floors.
Skills
- Proven experience working on construction sites with knowledge of site safety protocols.
- Expertise in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW welding techniques
- Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, calipers, micrometers, and other measurement devices.
- Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication processes including ductwork installation and pipe threading.
- Experience with rigging operations involving cranes or forklifts for material handling.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
