About the Role
As a Senior Accountant, you’ll play a key role in supporting client engagements and working closely with senior managers and directors to deliver tax, accounting, and advisory services.
This position is ideal for someone who wants more responsibility, direct client interaction, and continued development toward future leadership opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Prepare individual, partnership, S corporation, and corporate tax returns
- Research tax issues and assist with practical client solutions
- Prepare sales and use tax returns, payroll tax filings, tangible personal property tax returns, and Forms 1099
- Support tax planning and projection work
- Communicate directly with clients as part of engagement teams
- Collaborate with senior managers and directors on client projects
- Help mentor and support junior staff as needed
- Manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of public accounting experience
- CPA license, CPA candidate (150 credit hours), EA designation, or Master’s degree preferred but not required
- Strong understanding of accounting and tax principles
- Experience with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop
- Experience with Thomson Reuters software is a plus
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a team-oriented environment
