JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
- Must possess a current Kentucky Registered Nurse license.
- Current BLS certification
Minimum Work Experience
- Minimum of three years experience in a health care facility

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Participates in data collection for Performance Improvement activities.
- Chart abstractions and chart reviews.
- Attends educational opportunities to stay up to date on quality measures.
- Supports performance improvement teams with data collection, analysis and presentation.
- Transforms data into information/statistical reports and presentations for committees.
- Assists with quality measures in conjunction with Med Staff Office.
- Maintains confidentiality at all times.
- Trends data and reports trends in Adverse Patient Outcomes as soon as detected.
- Attends Medical Staff meetings as needed.
- Serves on multiple multidisciplinary committees related to quality measures
- Assists Performance Improvement teams with projects.
- Participates in preparing the hospital for TJC, stroke, and chest pain accreditation.
- Demonstrates computer skills adequate for proficient use in word, excel, PowerPoint.
