Tu Cha is a fast-growing dessert and drink concept rooted in storytelling through flavor, culture, and experience. We specialize in modern Asian–inspired desserts and beverages, with a strong focus on mousse cakes, refined technique, and thoughtful execution.
We’re a small, tight-knit team producing big results, and we’re currently welcoming applications from bakers, pastry professionals, and dessert enthusiasts who are detail-oriented, reliable, and excited to grow with us.

What You’ll Be Doing
Pastry Production
- Assist with preparation of pastry components (mousses, batters, fillings, doughs)
- Support daily dessert assembly, finishing, and packaging
- Portion, label, and store ingredients according to Tu Cha standards
- Maintain consistency and quality across all products
Kitchen Operations
- Work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced kitchen
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workstation
- Measure and scale ingredients accurately to reduce waste
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation protocols
Team Support
- Assist with prep, organization, and general kitchen needs
- Support teammates — we operate as a small, collaborative crew

Who We’re Looking For
- Reliable and punctual — consistency matters here
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Detail-oriented with respect for process and quality
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, sometimes cold kitchen environment
- Bakery or pastry experience is a plus, but mindset and care matter just as much
- Valid Food Handler’s Certification (required prior to start date)

Compensation & Growth
- Pay: $19.00 – $22.50 per hour (based on experience)
- Rates may increase with demonstrated consistency, reliability, and care
- While this role is currently capped, Tu Cha is a growing shop, and there may be opportunities for expanded responsibilities and future roles as we continue to evolve
