Job Summary
Small Family owned warehouse that produces and supplies produce and dry goods to restaurants in the Indianapolis area. English and/or Spanish encouraged
Duties
- Food production and processing that falls in line with federal and state health codes.
- Sorting, weighing, quality checking vegetables
- Perform order picking, packing, and labeling to prepare products for shipment
- Upon necessity, assisting in local deliveries
- Conduct stock replenishment activities including stocking shelves and organizing inventory using warehouse management systems
- Assist with cleanliness of the workspace and whatever cleaning projects are needed
- Support warehouse operations related to order fulfillment, packaging, and distribution processes
Experience
- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or distribution center is highly preferred
- Must be able to lift 50-100 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift
- Hands-on experience operating forklift trucks (certification preferred), reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment. Not Required
- Strong reading skills to ensure order picking is correct
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments while maintaining safety standards
Pay: $33,000.00 - $41,000.00 per year
