Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Cook food items with precision, ensuring proper temperature, presentation, and quality control
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation guidelines
- Support catering events by preparing large quantities of menu items efficiently and accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
- Serve food promptly and courteously to ensure excellent guest experiences
Skills
- Previous experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly desirable
- Strong culinary skills including knife techniques, food preparation, and meal assembly
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in restaurant or food industry settings demonstrating reliable kitchen skills
- Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with menu planning, food service operations, and catering preparations
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and servers
