Responsibilities
Support attorneys by preparing and organizing case files for personal injury litigation, including pleadings, discovery documents, and trial materials.
Conduct comprehensive legal research using LexisNexis, Westlaw, and other legal research tools to gather pertinent case law, statutes, and regulations relevant to personal injury law.
Assist with client communication by scheduling interviews, updating clients on case status, and preparing summaries of client interviews.
Coordinate with medical providers, insurance companies, and witnesses to gather necessary documentation and evidence for ongoing cases.
Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
Support the litigation process by reviewing documents for relevance, confidentiality handling, and proper formatting in compliance with procedural law requirements.
Maintain detailed case calendars to track deadlines for filings, court appearances, and other critical dates.
Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information while adhering to firm policies and legal standards throughout all case activities.
Qualifications
Minimum of two years’ experience supporting personal injury litigation or related civil litigation cases as a paralegal or legal support professional.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines efficiently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of drafting clear legal documents and effectively liaising with clients and external parties.
Exceptional attention to detail in proofreading documents and transcriptions; strong research skills to support complex casework.
Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
Organizational prowess combined with excellent phone etiquette; proactive approach to project management within a busy legal environment.

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
