Pay: $16.00/hour during 2 week training period then$18.00 per hour
Job description: We are located on Busch Blvd and I-275 in Tampa, so please do not apply if you do not live reasonably close to this location.
We are looking for a multi-lingual or bi-lingual (English and Spanish a must) candidate to work as an office assistant at Tampa Language Center. This job may have occasional opportunities to teach, but is a good way to get some admin experience with the day-to- day operations of a private school.
The job hours are:
Monday: 8:45AM-5:00PM (8 hours)
Tuesday: 8:45AM-5:00PM (8 hours) Occasionally 11:00AM -7:00PM
Wednesday: 8:45AM-5:00PM (8 hours)
Thursday: 8:45AM-5:00PM (8 hours)
Friday: 8:45AM-2:00PM (5 hours)
Saturday: 8:45AM-12:00PM (4 times per year) (3.25 hours)
The candidate must have great computer skills (Word and Excel are an absolute MUST). They must have EXCELLENT customer service skills as you will be assisting people who don't speak English from all over the world. Patience is a must. You must have great organization skills as well.
If you love languages and cultures, this is an awesome job and our office staff and teachers are a very sweet group! You will also help to coordinate our foreign language programs too! We teach 12 different languages! The person who gets this position will also be trained to become a designated school official, which will require in-house training. This is for dealing with student visas and the related paperwork.
