Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our team for a Monday through Friday shift. In this role, you will craft and serve a variety of beverages, provide exceptional customer service, and create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your expertise in mixology, beverage presentation, and hospitality will ensure every guest enjoys a memorable experience. Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience.
- Manage bar operations efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders and transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards.
- Develop new beverage recipes and contribute to menu updates based on current trends and customer preferences.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and communicate with management regarding stock shortages.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and balance registers at the end of each shift.
Requirements
- Proven experience in bartending, including cocktail mixing, wine knowledge, craft beer expertise, and beverage recipe development.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently while maintaining high-quality service.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred, especially within fine dining or hospitality settings.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling of beverages and food items.
- Ability to process cash transactions accurately using retail math and cashiering skills.
- Experience with beverage trends like mixology, spirits expertise, brewing processes, or catering is a plus.
- Basic math skills for inventory management and cash handling tasks.
