Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Custodian/Janitorial professional to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across facilities. In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure our spaces are pristine and well-kept. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute significantly to the overall appearance, safety, and hygiene of our premises. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies.
- Ensure proper disposal of trash and recycling materials in designated containers throughout the facility.
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, fixtures, and other surfaces to uphold high standards of hygiene and appearance.
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities and use personal protective equipment as required.
- Support cleaning checklist and weekly inventory checklist for daily industrial cleaning to meet facility requirements.
Requirements
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial settings.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care procedures, and industrial cleaning methods.
- Ability to show up every day and start at 5:30pm and work until 10:30pm. Will need to have some experience with being a keyholder and arm and disarm alarm systems.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and moving around throughout the evening.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
