Henry Development Group is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our growing team. This full-time role supports the daily operations of a diverse property portfolio, including residential rentals, downtown Marion lofts, office and retail spaces, short-term rentals (Airbnbs), and a coworking/event space.
This is a hands-on, multifaceted position combining property operations, bookkeeping, and administrative duties. We’re looking for someone who’s proactive, organized, willing to roll up their sleeves, and excited to be part of a mission-driven, entrepreneurial team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Property Manager with day-to-day support across various properties
- Welcome and assist building guests and tenants
- Help with setup/takedown for events or meetings
- Coordinate access for contractors, utilities, and maintenance personnel
- Coordinate, schedule, and manage cleaning staff.
- Inspect completed cleanings and ensure turnover and cleaning checklists are followed.
- Assist with cleaning duties when additional coverage is needed.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and keys.
- Conduct regular building walks and identify maintenance or cleaning issues.
- Troubleshoot property concerns and proactively resolve issues.
- Communicate with tenants or guests in person, by phone, or via text
- Track hours accurately and maintain digital records
- Use property management and timekeeping software
- Assist with residential leasing activities, including property showings, lease preparation and signing, and move-in/move-out coordination

Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks independently
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable using digital tools, apps, and checklists
- Previous hospitality or property management experience is a plus
Compensation & Benefits:
- Starting Salary $48,000-53,000/year, depending on experience
