The Senior Manager, Revenue Assurance leads a centralized team responsible for deposit accounting, resident account audits, charge validation, and other revenue assurance functions across FirstKey Homes' national portfolio. This role partners with Operations, Construction, Utilities, Accounting, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure revenue accuracy, regulatory compliance, and consistent execution of company policies. The Senior Manager is responsible for developing team members, driving process improvements, mitigating operational risk, and serving as a subject matter expert in property management operations, landlord-tenant regulations, and resident account management.
- Lead, develop, and manage a centralized team responsible for deposit accounting, resident account audits, charge validation, and other revenue-related operational functions.
- Establish performance expectations, monitor results, and provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to ensure a high-performing and engaged team.
- Recruit, onboard, and retain talent while creating succession plans and career growth opportunities for team members.
- Oversee the completion of deposit accounting and resident account reviews to ensure compliance with company policies, state regulations, and statutory deadlines.
- Partner with District Operations, Construction, Utilities, Accounting, Legal, and other cross-functional teams to resolve complex account matters and ensure consistency in operational execution.
- Ensure the accurate application of move-out charge policies, concession approvals, account adjustments, and resident billing practices across the portfolio.
- Monitor regulatory and industry changes related to landlord-tenant law, security deposits, real estate operations, and resident accounting processes, ensuring procedures remain compliant and current.
- Utilize reporting, analytics, and operational dashboards to identify trends, mitigate risk, improve processes, and enhance revenue accuracy.
- Lead process improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, compliance, service levels, and revenue protection.
- Develop and maintain departmental policies, procedures, training materials, and quality control standards to support consistent execution across the organization.
- Demonstrate knowledge of and remain compliant with all FirstKey Homes policies, procedures, Fair Housing requirements, and applicable federal, state, and local laws.

- Active real estate license.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 7+ years of residential property management experience, including progressive responsibility in property operations, resident management, financial oversight, and regulatory compliance.
- 3+ years of leadership experience with demonstrated success recruiting, developing, coaching, and managing high-performing teams.
- Strong knowledge of residential leasing, resident accounting, security deposits, move-in/move-out processes, and landlord-tenant regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
- Experience interpreting and applying real estate laws, Fair Housing requirements, and operational policies within a multi-state property management environment.
- Proven ability to lead operational audits, process improvements, compliance initiatives, and cross-functional projects that drive efficiency and reduce operational risk.
- Proficiency with Yardi, Microsoft Office applications, and operational reporting tools; ability to leverage data and analytics to identify trends, improve performance, and support business decisions.
- Experience partnering with Operations, Construction, Accounting, Legal, Compliance, and other business functions to resolve complex issues and drive consistent execution across a portfolio.
- Strong understanding of resident account management, revenue protection, charge validation, concessions, and deposit accounting best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, establish team performance expectations, and ensure service levels and regulatory deadlines are consistently achieved.
- Primarily working indoors, away from the threat of any weather conditions
- May sit or stand for several hours at a time and climb up and down stairs multiple times each day
- Must be able to travel throughout applicable market using personal vehicle
