Positive Reset Manalapan is a highly respected, outpatient mental health clinic dedicated to providing compassionate, compliant, and top-tier patient care. We are seeking a highly organized, professional, and detail-oriented Temporary Medical Receptionist to act as our primary morning on-site anchor during a temporary staffing opportunity.
Position Summary:
As the sole on-site administrative anchor during our core morning business hours, you will be responsible for managing the front desk independently, facilitating seamless patient check-ins, securing financial transactions, and ensuring absolute data integrity within our systems. Regular, punctual, and consistent on-site attendance is an essential requirement of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Morning Anchor Coverage: Physically open, staff, and maintain the front desk independently from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Monday through Thursday.
Revenue Cycle Management: Perform our "Three-Point Verification" process on all incoming patients. Verify insurance eligibility prior to sessions, collect copays, and ensure a valid credit card authorization is secured on file.
EMR & Data Integrity: Register new patients, manage intake paperwork, and ensure 100% accurate documentation and data matching between our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system and scheduling (OfficeAlly) system.
Communications & Patient Service: Answer phones and coordinate day-to-day office workflows to support our clinical team and leadership.
Confidentiality & Compliance: Strictly maintain the confidentiality of all patient records in accordance with federal HIPAA regulations and internal clinic policies.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1–2 years of experience working as a medical receptionist or front-desk coordinator (outpatient mental health or medical clinic experience preferred).
Proven proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
Strong understanding of copay collection, and insurance eligibility verification.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong commitment to administrative accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage front-desk operations as a single operator.
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to commit to the entire temporary 3-month duration.
This opportunity could later be transitioned into ongoing per diem.
