Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items quickly and accurately, adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders, handle cash transactions, and manage retail sales efficiently.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, upselling menu items to enhance their experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment to ensure food safety and sanitation compliance.
- Manage food service customer orders from start to finish, including taking orders, serving meals, bussing tables, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively while following proper food handling procedures.
- Support team members by assisting with food prep, stocking supplies, and maintaining a sanitized environment throughout shifts.
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation is advantageous.
- Proven skills in cash handling, processing transactions accurately using POS systems like Aloha or Micros.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours while maintaining quality standards.
- Customer service experience demonstrating the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Basic math skills necessary for cash register operations and order calculations.
- Experience in retail sales transactions or grocery store environments is a plus but not required.
