Position Overview
Twins BBQ is looking for a reliable, hardworking team member to join our food truck crew. This position will focus primarily on cooking and working the line on our food truck, while helping ensure every customer receives high-quality food and great service.
We are looking for someone with food service/cooking experience, and truck-driving experience is a strong plus. The right person may have the opportunity to drive our food trucks to catering events and assist with setup, service, and breakdown.
Hours: Approximately 25–30 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours based on events and business needs.
Responsibilities
- Cook and work the line on the Twins BBQ food truck.
- Prepare and serve food according to Twins BBQ recipes, standards, and procedures.
- Ensure all food leaving the truck meets our quality, portion, temperature, and presentation standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary cooking and service area.
- Properly stock and prepare the truck before service.
- Assist with food prep, restocking, cleaning, and closing duties.
- Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining food quality.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service.
- Communicate with the kitchen and management team to keep service running smoothly.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Help load and unload equipment, food, and supplies as needed.
- Assist with catering events, including setup, food service, and breakdown.
- Potentially drive Twins BBQ food trucks to and from catering events.
- Safely operate and care for the food truck while traveling to events.
- Represent Twins BBQ professionally when working at off-site events.
- Perform other duties as needed to help the food truck and catering operations run smoothly.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, line cook, or food service experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to food quality and consistency.
- Reliable and dependable.
- Ability to work independently while also being part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Must be comfortable working on your feet for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move food, supplies, and equipment.
- Food truck or larger vehicle driving experience is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred for employees who may be asked to operate company vehicles.
- Catering or event experience is a plus.

The food truck can get very busy, so we need someone who can stay calm, move quickly, communicate with the team, and still ensure the food leaving the truck is something we are proud to serve.
Schedule
Approximately 25–30 hours per week, with schedules varying based on restaurant needs, food truck events, and catering bookings. Must be available Friday- Sunday; we operate heavily during those periods.
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
