Heart of the House is hiring experienced Banquet Servers for events in the Cincinnati downtown area.
As a Banquet Server, you'll help serve food and beverages at dinners, banquets, and special events while providing guests with friendly, professional, and efficient service.

Banquet Server Responsibilities
- Set up event spaces, including tablecloths, place settings, table arrangements, and buffet stations
- Carry trays and serve food and beverages to guests
- Keep water and beverage glasses filled
- Clear plates between courses and replenish utensils as needed
- Assist with cleaning, breakdown, and reset after events
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest service
- Follow grooming, appearance, and uniform standards
- Work weekends and be available on-call for scheduled events
Banquet Server Requirements
- Previous banquet, catering, restaurant, or waiter/waitress experience required
- Current alcohol service certification required
- Food handler certification required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Ability to follow directions and work well as part of a team
- Excellent customer service skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Must be available to work weekends and on-call events
Uniform Requirement
Banquet Servers must provide their own uniform, including:
- Black dress pants
- Black button-up shirt
- Black non-slip shoes
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods
- Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, and climb stairs as needed
- Ability to carry trays and move throughout event spaces
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds
