Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shirt Presser to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for expertly pressing and finishing shirts to ensure they meet high-quality standards. Your work will help maintain the professional appearance of our clients’ garments, contributing to their overall satisfaction. Duties
- Operate pressing machines and other garment finishing equipment to press shirts efficiently and accurately
- Ensure each shirt is pressed to the highest standards of quality, removing wrinkles and creases effectively
- Handle garments with care during manual handling processes, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Conduct routine cleaning of pressing equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Assist with laundry and dry cleaning processes as needed, ensuring proper sorting and handling of garments
Skills
- Knowledge of garment finishing techniques, including pressing, steaming, and folding
- Ability to operate pressing machines safely and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong manual handling skills, including heavy lifting and careful garment manipulation
- Ability to maintain cleanliness in work areas through regular cleaning routines
- Reliability in following safety protocols during press operation and equipment use
