Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled, reliable bartender and / or barback whose primary responsibility is managing bar operations and executing cocktails to recipe standards.
This is a bar-first role. When service allows, you will also support retail operations by assisting customers and maintaining the store.
What You’ll Do (Primary Focus)
- Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, and wine to established recipes
- Maintain consistency, speed, and presentation standards
- Provide excellent customer service and beverage recommendations
- Manage bar flow during busy and slow periods
- Handle POS transactions and payments accurately
Retail Support (As Needed)
- Assist customers with retail purchases when bar activity permits
- Help maintain clean, organized shelves and displays
- Support light stocking and inventory tasks
General Responsibilities
- Open and close the bar independently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Follow all New Jersey ABC laws and ID verification requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Previous bartending experience (full-service required)
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and beer
- Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency
- Comfortable multitasking and working independently
- Positive attitude and strong customer service skills
- Must be 21+
Schedule
- Primarily AM shift from 12 pm - 4 pm with some evening shifts
- Nights, weekends, and holidays required
