JEC High School (Elizabeth, NJ) is seeking an AP English Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year, following a recent staff opening.
Responsibilities:
- Teach AP English Language and/or Literature to high school students
- Prepare students for the AP exam with rigorous, standards-aligned instruction
- Collaborate with the English department and school leadership on curriculum alignment
- Support students academically within JEC's Orthodox Jewish educational environment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Prior AP teaching experience strongly preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
