Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of carpentry and labor tasks to support residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will help ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Duties
- Use hand tools and power tools for woodworking, framing, trim carpentry, siding, and fixture installation.
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks necessary for material handling, rebar installation, plastering, stucco application, and mold remediation.
- Assist in the installation of wood construction materials such as flooring, siding, wood studs, and other framing components.
- Operate woodworking machines safely to cut, shape, and assemble wood components for various projects.
- Support restoration projects by performing demolition, caulking, reinstallation of fixtures, and other finishing tasks.
- Follow safety protocols related to power tool operation, power tool safety standards, and general construction site safety procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction or carpentry.
- Proficiency with hand tools.
- Knowledge of woodworking machines and wood stud framing is preferred.
- Experience with construction estimating and interpreting technical drawings is a plus.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity over extended periods.
- Strong commitment to safety practices including power tool safety standards.
- Prior experience in restoration industry work or handyman tasks is advantageous.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions on construction plans.
