Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all children.
- Observe and assess children's progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting positive interactions among students.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and maintain high standards of care.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the classroom to ensure a conducive learning environment.
Skills
- Experience working in a preschool setting or with young children is essential.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Strong classroom management skills to create an effective learning atmosphere.
- Ability to engage in behavior management strategies that support positive child development.
- Experience in babysitting or childcare is a plus, particularly with infants or children with disabilities.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and staff members.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young learners.
