Position Overview
TrustTrade is seeking a highly motivated Cold Caller and Appointment Setter with strong hunter instincts and experience selling into education, school districts, and enterprise organizations.
This person will identify and contact qualified prospects, primarily technology directors, IT leaders, operations leaders, and procurement decision-makers, to start conversations around selling or liquidating used Apple technology and other IT assets.
The goal of this role is to generate qualified appointments and opportunities for the Executive Broker, who will manage the next stage of the sales and brokerage process.
This is a performance-driven role with uncapped earning potential. Commissions are split 50/50 with the organization, giving the right person the ability to build a significant income stream by creating high-quality opportunities.
What You’ll Do
Make outbound calls to schools, school districts, universities, businesses, and enterprise organizations.
Identify organizations with used Apple technology, including MacBooks, iPads, iMacs, Mac minis, and other devices that may be ready for resale, buyback, refresh, or recycling.
Speak with technology directors, IT managers, CTOs, procurement leaders, and other decision-makers.
Qualify prospects based on asset type, estimated volume, refresh timing, decision-maker involvement, and interest level.
Set qualified appointments for the Executive Broker.
Maintain accurate notes, call activity, prospect status, and follow-up details in the company CRM or tracking system.
Follow up consistently with prospects through phone, email, and scheduled callbacks.
Communicate TrustTrade’s value clearly: higher returns, less hassle, trusted buyback partners, project support, and secure data wipe/audit coordination.
Build and manage a personal pipeline of qualified education and enterprise prospects.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a true outbound hunter who is comfortable making cold calls, handling rejection, and creating opportunities from scratch.
You should have experience calling into one or more of the following markets:
Education
K-12 school districts
Higher education
Enterprise technology departments
IT asset disposition / ITAD
Technology resale or buyback
Apple hardware sales, leasing, refresh, or lifecycle services
Managed IT services or technology procurement
Required Skills and Experience
Proven experience in cold calling, prospecting, appointment setting, business development, or inside sales.
Experience selling or prospecting into education, school districts, government, enterprise, or IT departments.
Ability to confidently speak with technology directors and senior decision-makers.
Strong phone presence and ability to quickly build trust.
Excellent follow-up habits and pipeline discipline.
Comfortable working in a commission-driven environment.
Self-motivated, competitive, persistent, and results-oriented.
Ability to understand and explain the value of used Apple technology buyback and lifecycle management.
Preferred Experience
Existing relationships in K-12 education, school districts, universities, enterprise IT, or procurement.
Experience with Apple devices in institutional environments.
Familiarity with technology refresh cycles, device trade-ins, surplus technology, recycling, or ITAD.
Experience setting appointments for brokers, closers, executives, or senior salespeople.
CRM experience.
Compensation
This is a commission-based opportunity with unlimited earning potential and no commission cap.
Commissions are split 50% with the organization on qualified opportunities that result in completed business.

Pay: $63,946.02 - $77,010.27 per year
