Atlas9 is unlike anywhere else. Part immersive art experience, part interactive adventure, part entertainment venue, Atlas9 invites guests to explore a forgotten 1990s movie theater where mysterious worlds have begun to spill into reality.
We're looking for a creative, organized, and self-motivated Marketing Specialist to help grow our audience, tell our story, and create unforgettable campaigns that drive ticket sales, private events, and community engagement.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with 2–4 years of marketing experience who loves variety, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and wants to help shape the marketing of one of Kansas City's most exciting destinations.
What You'll Do
You'll play an active role across nearly every aspect of our marketing efforts.
Social Media & Content
- Plan and manage Atlas9's social media calendar
- Capture photos and videos throughout the attraction and at special events
- Create engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other platforms
- Write captions, blogs, email content, and website copy
- Stay on top of trends and bring fresh content ideas to the team
Email & Website
- Build and schedule email campaigns
- Update website content and event pages
- Write and publish blog content
Events & Community
- Help plan and market special events, movie nights, and seasonal promotions
- Coordinate with community partners, influencers, and local organizations
- Attend events to capture content and support marketing initiatives and activations
Analytics
- Track marketing KPIs and campaign performance
- Analyze ticket sales trends and audience insights
- Help identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness
Brand Support
- Coordinate marketing projects from concept to completion
- Work closely with designers, photographers, and creative partners
- Help maintain Atlas9's brand standards across all marketing materials
We're Looking For Someone Who...
- Has 2-4 years of marketing experience
- Loves social media and understands current trends
- Can capture compelling photo and video content
- Is an excellent writer and communicator
- Is organized and detail-oriented
- Enjoys both creative work and data analysis
- Can manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Is comfortable working independently while collaborating with a small team
- Brings ideas, not just execution
This position reports to the Director of Marketing & Communications with a dotted line to the Managing Director. It is a hybrid role with a mix of remote and on-site work. Occasional evenings and weekends are required to support on-site events, capture content, and assist with special marketing initiatives and activations.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
