Marco’s Pizza is seeking motivated, dependable, and customer-focused Team Members to join our fast-paced restaurant environment. We are looking for hardworking individuals who thrive under pressure, learn quickly, and take pride in providing outstanding customer service while preparing high-quality food according to Marco’s Pizza standards.
This position requires working in a high-energy kitchen where speed, accuracy, cleanliness, and teamwork are essential. Team Members must be comfortable working around hot pizza ovens, handling multiple responsibilities at once, and maintaining a positive attitude during busy meal periods.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet every customer with a friendly, professional, and welcoming attitude.
- Answer phone calls promptly using Marco’s Pizza customer service standards.
- Take customer orders in person, over the phone, and through online ordering systems.
- Prepare pizzas and other menu items according to Marco’s recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.
- Stretch dough, prepare ingredients, and assist with food preparation.
- Maintain speed and accuracy while preparing orders during busy lunch and dinner rushes.
- Operate the cash register and process cash, credit card, and digital payments accurately.
- Ensure every order is complete, accurate, and ready on time.
- Wash dishes and maintain a clean, organized dish area throughout the shift.
- Restock food, boxes, drinks, sauces, and supplies as needed.
- Clean and sanitize all workstations, prep tables, equipment, lobby, restrooms, and kitchen areas.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including stocking, cleaning, and equipment checks.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
- Work safely around hot pizza ovens, heated equipment, and hot food while maintaining awareness of your surroundings.
- Communicate effectively with managers and team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain a clean appearance and represent Marco’s Pizza professionally at all times.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to safely lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Must be able to stand and walk for 8 or more hours during a shift.
- Frequently bend, reach, twist, squat, kneel, and move throughout the restaurant.
- Comfortable working in a warm kitchen environment with continuous exposure to high temperatures generated by commercial pizza ovens.
- Able to safely handle hot pans, pizza screens, oven tools, and other kitchen equipment.
- Capable of moving quickly throughout the restaurant while maintaining safety and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment.
- Excellent multitasking skills with the ability to handle several responsibilities simultaneously.
- Able to work quickly, efficiently, and accurately without sacrificing food quality or customer service.
- Fast learner who adapts quickly to new procedures and changing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to following recipes and company standards.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Positive attitude and willingness to help teammates.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to remain calm, focused, and productive during peak business hours.
- Previous restaurant or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime when needed.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
