Part-Time Teaching Assistant Job for High School Juniors and Seniors and College Students — Kumon Alden Bridge (The Woodlands, TX)

Are you a motivated student with strong academics looking for a meaningful part-time job after school? Kumon of The Woodlands – Alden Bridge is hiring Teaching Assistants and Front Desk Assistants to support our after-school math and reading learning center.
We’re just minutes away from local schools and colleges and are looking for dependable students who can stay in the role for at least one year.
Work Schedule:
- Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays: 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM
✨ Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
- Create a welcoming and organized environment for Kumon families
- Greet and check in students and parents
- Teaching students of ages 4 to 14
- Parent Communication - Answering queries from Parents via phone, email and Remind Messages, Sharing Student Progress reports to parents by emails
- Grade Kumon homework and classwork
- Guide students by the Kumon method (Training will be provided)
- Help with student flow and classroom organization
- Organize and prepare worksheets before class
- Manage student records and progress using Kumon software
- Use Google Workspace and other tools for data entry
- Assist with student file management and light administrative work
Ideal Candidate:
- Bilingual (English/Native Spanish) - Must Have
- Incoming high school senior or junior (2027/2028 exp graduation), Current College Students
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Friendly, dependable, and enjoys working with families and children
- Tech-savvy (Google Suite, Microsoft Office, generative AI tools)
- Excellent communicator with a professional attitude
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
