Incumbent will maintain accountability for the following:
- Develop accurate financial tracking and reporting tools for construction projects.
- Collaborate closely with construction and interiors project managers to develop project budgets and maintain them through the course of the project lifecycle.
- Submit monthly financial construction reports to leadership, ensuring accuracy and using strong financial acumen.
- Review pay applications and invoices weekly for all construction projects, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and financial accuracy.
- Prepare for periodic project audits, leading project teams in ensuring compliance with all auditing guidelines and maintaining project records for accuracy and longevity.
- Responsible for tracking project capitalization and depreciation reporting, ensuring timely submissions based on fluid project completion dates.
- Work daily in the construction project management software, e-Builder, to ensure financial accuracy for all projects within the system.
- Using e-Builder, establish cash flow reporting tools and mechanisms to increase visibility for the organization into construction spending.
- Staying current with industry trends in both construction and finance.
- Conducting and leading monthly construction project update meetings as well as working with project managers to establish financial projections and identify risks.
- Analyzing financial transactions and incorporating unforeseen costs into project budgets.
- Maintaining contract documents, billing folders, and all related records, including lien releases and monthly waivers.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
