We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. - Current Kansas Board of Healing Arts Licensure
- ARRT Registration
Duties
- Perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures with precision and attention to detail
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the exam
- Operate advanced imaging equipment adhering strictly to aseptic techniques and radiation safety protocols
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation of all procedures performed
- Assist in emergency situations by providing rapid imaging support for trauma assessments or urgent medical needs
- Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques to continually improve service quality
Experience
- Proven experience working in diagnostic radiology with proficiency in X-ray and CT
- Prior experience in emergency room settings is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to diagnostic imaging procedures
- Familiarity with medical terminology used in radiology reports and patient care documentation
- Experience operating complex medical imaging equipment with adherence to safety standards
- Knowledge of diagnostic evaluation processes and the ability to assist physicians with image interpretation
