Our School is growing and we are seeking passionate and dedicated Teachers to join our team.
Lead Teacher Responsibilities
- To implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum
- To monitor and document each child’s progress
-To communicate with parents about their child’s progress
-Potty-Training
-To perform any and all tasks and duties related to the operation of a child care classroom.
This includes but is not limited to:
- To follow all policies and procedures as put forth by EIL
- To have an understanding of pertinent licensing regulations and follow those at all times.
- Maintaining classroom cleanliness, i.e.: cleaning and sanitizing toys, shelves, tables and chairs.
- Changing wet or dirty diapers, clothing in the manner necessary if applicable
- Laying out/picking up cots
- Serving and clearing lunch and snacks
- Occasional substitution in other classrooms
- To attend staff meetings and in-service sessions as scheduled
- To accept guidance from on site directors and administration as necessary
- Co-operate with fellow teachers and maintain a positive work environment
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Experience working with toddlers and preschool-aged children
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential
- Understanding of childhood development stages and milestones
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Note: All positions at our organization are paid positions. We do not offer unpaid internships.
Pay: $16.00 - $18.50 per hour
