Jacob's family is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one private duty nursing care for Jacob, a wonderful 25-year-old young man living with a traumatic brain injury (TBI).
This is a rewarding opportunity to build a meaningful relationship with one patient while providing high-quality nursing care in a peaceful home environment. About the Home Environment
Jacob lives with his family on a beautiful 21-acre farm in Franklin Township, Warren County, NJ. Nurses who enjoy the outdoors will appreciate opportunities to accompany him on walks, spend time in the garden, and enjoy fresh air whenever appropriate.
The family is actively engaged in researching emerging therapies and rehabilitation options, making this an excellent opportunity for nurses who enjoy learning and expanding their clinical knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate one-on-one nursing care in the home.
- Follow the individualized plan of care developed by the Nurse Manager.
- Administer medications and prescribed treatments.
- Monitor and assess the patient's condition, reporting any significant changes.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with the patient's family and healthcare team to ensure the highest quality of care.
Qualifications
- Current RN or LPN license in the State of New Jersey.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Excellent clinical assessment and communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
- Current health records and employment documentation as required.
