Angel Guard | School Protection Professional
Angel Force Protection, LLC is seeking a highly qualified U.S. military veteran to serve as an Angel Guard at a school in South Carolina.
Angel Guards are more than security personnel. They are trained veterans entrusted with helping protect students, supporting school staff, building positive relationships within the school community, and maintaining a professional protective presence on campus.

Primary Responsibilities
The Angel Guard will:
- Help maintain a safe and secure environment for students, faculty, staff, visitors, and guests.
- Establish and maintain positive, professional relationships with students, school personnel, parents, and members of the school community.
- Maintain a visible and professional protective presence throughout the assigned campus.
- Conduct routine patrols and security checks of designated areas.
- Identify and report safety concerns, suspicious activity, unauthorized persons, and potential security vulnerabilities.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies, imminent threats, criminal incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in accordance with AFP policies, post orders, and applicable law.
- Initiate and support emergency procedures in accordance with established protocols.
- Coordinate and maintain professional working relationships with local law enforcement, fire departments, EMS, and other emergency personnel.
- Support law enforcement and emergency responders when authorized and appropriate.
- Monitor school activities and events, including designated after hours activities when assigned.
- Complete and submit required daily Angel Guard logs, incident reports, and other AFP documentation.
- Participate in scheduled campus security assessments, drills, training, firearm qualifications, and continuing professional development.
- Assist AFP leadership and school administration with the development and implementation of appropriate safety procedures and action plans.
- Utilize surveillance, communications, access control, and other authorized security technology.
- Perform additional protective duties assigned by AFP supervisors consistent with the position and applicable law.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must:
- Be a U.S. military veteran discharged under honorable conditions and provide a DD Form 214.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Be fluent in written and spoken English.
- Meet all South Carolina licensing, registration, training, background screening, and qualification requirements applicable to the assigned position.
- Successfully complete AFP required background screening and pre employment requirements.
- Successfully complete required drug screening and remain eligible for random or reasonable suspicion testing in accordance with AFP policy and applicable law.
- Meet AFP standards for armed protective personnel, including required firearms training and qualification when applicable to the assignment.
- Successfully complete any psychological or fitness for duty evaluation required by AFP, the client, or applicable law.
- Maintain all licenses, registrations, certifications, and qualifications required for the position throughout employment.
Physical Requirements
Candidates must be capable of:
- Standing, walking, and patrolling for extended periods.
- Working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Responding quickly and appropriately during emergency situations.
- Performing the physical functions reasonably necessary for assigned campus protection duties.
