Responsibilities
- Support lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of toddlers.
- Supervise children closely to ensure their safety and well-being at all times during indoor and outdoor activities.
- Assist with diapering, feeding, and nap routines following health and safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Communicate effectively with parents about their child's daily activities, progress, and any concerns.
- Follow all mandated reporting laws to ensure children's safety and report any signs of neglect or abuse promptly.
- Support classroom management strategies to foster positive behavior and social skills among children.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar settings is highly preferred.
- Tuberculosis test
- Fingerprinting & background check (set up by employer with potential employee)
- Required training upon & after hiring
- Ability to follow health and safety protocols diligently, including mandated reporting laws.
- Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and team collaboration.
- Classroom management skills combined with patience, energy, and a positive attitude towards children’s learning experiences.
