As a Pest Control Technician, you will be assigned a dedicated route and service region with established residential and commercial customers. You will be responsible for delivering professional pest and/or lawn applications while providing excellent customer service and identifying opportunities to add value through additional services.
Typical Day in the Field
- Operate a company-provided vehicle equipped with professional tools and materials
- Perform scheduled pest and lawn services for:
- Single-family homes
- Apartments and condominiums
- Commercial properties and offices
- HOA common areas
- Communicate professionally with customers in person and by phone
- Confirm service schedules and address customer questions or requests
- Follow all label instructions, safety standards, and company protocols
- Identify opportunities to recommend additional services or solutions
Earning Potential: Technicians have multiple ways to earn beyond base pay, including commission, bonuses, and daily performance incentives, creating strong upside income potential.Job Responsibilities
- Apply pesticides to lawns and structures according to schedules, labels, and safety regulations
- Maintain accurate service documentation using mobile applications
- Deliver professional, courteous customer service at all times
- Identify and act on opportunities to upsell or cross-sell services
- Follow all safety and environmental compliance standards
Requirements for Success
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Personable and comfortable interacting with customers
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Strong communication skills (one-on-one and small group)
- Detail-oriented and safety-focused
- Comfortable working outdoors and in confined spaces
- Ability to work at heights (additional compensation available)
- Must be tech-friendly and comfortable using mobile apps
