Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HVAC New Construction Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and ensuring the proper operation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems during new building projects. Your expertise will help deliver comfortable, energy-efficient environments for our clients by applying your technical skills and mechanical knowledge. Responsibilities
- Install HVAC systems including ductwork, piping, equipment, and controls according to schematics and HVAC design plans.
- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and building automation system diagrams to ensure precise installation.
- Perform electrical diagnostics and troubleshoot electrical systems related to HVAC equipment.
- Conduct mechanical systems repair, including refrigeration, boiler systems, and ammonia refrigeration components.
- Utilize hand tools, welding equipment, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and repair HVAC/R systems effectively.
- Ensure all installations comply with safety standards such as EPA regulations for refrigerants and electrical codes.
- Collaborate with project managers, electricians, plumbers, and other trades to coordinate installation activities on construction sites.
- Test completed systems for proper operation, perform adjustments as needed, and document all work performed.
- Maintain a high level of customer service by communicating effectively with clients and project teams throughout the installation process.
Experience
- Proven construction experience with a focus on HVAC system installation or mechanical systems repair.
- Service technician experience working with HVAC/R equipment or property maintenance is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of schematics, blueprints, HVAC design principles, and building automation systems.
- Hands-on experience with electrical diagnostics, equipment troubleshooting, welding, plumbing, and refrigeration systems.
- Mechanical knowledge related to air conditioning units, boilers, ammonia refrigeration systems, and mechanical systems repair.
- Familiarity with hand tools, ohmmeters, welding equipment, and other diagnostic instruments used in field service operations.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL or <PERSON> driver certification is a plus.
- Certifications such as EPA refrigerant handling certification are required; additional certifications in electrical or mechanical fields are advantageous.

Pay: $22.00 - $30.74 per hour
