Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook breakfast and brunch menu items according to recipes and presentation standards with our team
- The menu includes eggs, omelets, pancakes, breakfast meats, potatoes, sandwiches, salads, and specialty menu items
- Ensure all food is prepared and served promptly during busy service periods
- Maintain consistency, portion control, and food quality standards
- Assist with food preparation, including cutting vegetables and portioning ingredients
- Monitor food inventory and communicate shortages to management
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift
- Assist with dishwashing, cleaning kitchen equipment, and end-of-day cleaning duties as needed
- Work collaboratively with other teams, servers, and management to provide excellent guest experiences
Qualifications
- Previous line cook experience preferred, especially in breakfast or brunch service
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety practices
- Experience preparing eggs, breakfast items, and short-order cooking is a plus
- Ability to multitask and maintain quality under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and presentation
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
