Job Summary
We are seeking dynamic and motivated Managers to lead our vibrant hospitality teams in delivering exceptional food and service experiences. As a Manager, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure high standards of food quality and safety, and foster a positive environment for staff and guests alike. These roles offers an exciting opportunity to shape the customer journey, manage team performance, and drive operational excellence in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting. We are looking for an Assistant Manager(Store Manager) as well as a General Manager. The starting pay range for Store Manager is between $45,000 - $52, 000 commiserate with experience and GM negotiations start at $70,000.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating team members to ensure top-tier performance.
- Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards, food safety regulations, and proper handling procedures.
- Manage daily operations including shift management, inventory control, and cash handling to maintain efficiency and profitability.
- Utilize POS systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently while monitoring sales trends.
- Coordinate food production activities, including catering events when applicable, to meet customer expectations.
- Foster a welcoming environment by delivering excellent customer service, resolving guest concerns promptly, and maintaining high satisfaction levels.
- Conduct staff training sessions focused on ZAXBY'S best practices with an emphasis on hospitality
- Support team development through interviewing prospective employees and providing ongoing training & development opportunities.
Requirements
- Store Manager position requires minimum 1 year restaurant management experience and to average approximately 45-50 hours a week, eligible for bonuses
- General Manager position requires a minimum 3 years experience as a GM including 1 year of experience of $100,000+ weekly sales volume, will be salaried and eligible for bonuses
- General Manager will responsible for truck ordering, completing team schedules and other related admin responsibilities
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management with a focus on food safety standards.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with skills in team management, staff training & development, and shift leadership.
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle cash handling responsibilities accurately.
- Knowledge of inventory control and COGS
- Ability to lead by example with strong communication skills; capable of interviewing candidates effectively.
