Veterinary Urgent Care Center (VUCC) – Saugus is looking for a full-time Certified Veterinary Technician to join our growing urgent care team! If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy a diverse caseload, and want to practice advanced medicine without the demands of overnight emergency care, we'd love to meet you.
Experienced non-credentialed veterinary technicians are also encouraged to apply.
VUCC – Saugus is a small animal urgent care hospital providing same-day care for pets with illnesses and injuries that require prompt medical attention but are not life-threatening emergencies. Our hospital partners with local primary care veterinarians and emergency hospitals to ensure pets receive timely, high-quality care when their family veterinarian is unavailable.

Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program and a current state license (CVT) in good standing.

Proficiency in a range of technical skills, with a strong aptitude for emergency procedures, anesthesia monitoring, and critical care nursing.

Confidence in handling animals of all temperaments and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication skills and a passion for working collaboratively under pressure.

One year of experience in a veterinary setting is preferred; urgent care or emergency experience is a plus!
