Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic Bakery and Cafe Sales Associate, capable of providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and beverage, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks that contribute to the overall success of our bakery.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the presentation of baked goods, ensuring high quality and freshness.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for transactions and manage cash handling accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product selections.
- Accurately deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to customers' tables.
- Perform merchandising duties to display products attractively and effectively promote sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the retail area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Experience
- Previous experience in a retail or restaurant environment is preferred, though not required.
- Familiarity with basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing customer interaction within diverse communities.
