Epic Personnel Partners is hiring a Logistics Accounting Analyst in Minooka IL!
Join a leading distribution operation where you'll play a key role in supporting logistics finance, vendor accounting, and cost reporting while partnering with operations to drive accuracy and efficiency.
Duties: The Logistics Accounting Analyst will handle financial processes related to logistics and operations, including cost analysis, accounts payable, and standardized reporting while ensuring compliance with company procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze daily logistics costs and prepare month-end SAP reports.
- Process and verify invoices with 3-way matching; resolve payment discrepancies.
- Reconcile vendor accounts and ensure timely payments.
- Maintain accurate vendor records and address inquiries.
- Streamline operational reports across distribution centers to align with company standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP or other ERP/accoutning systems logistics-related accounting systems preferred.
- Knowledge of accounts payable and general accounting practices.
- Advanced proficency with Microsoft excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Formulas) and strong reconciliation skills preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with logistics and distribution operations is required.
