Duties
Design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) aligned with each student’s unique needs and goals
Deliver dynamic lessons across core subjects such as literacy, math, and social skills, incorporating curriculum development best practices
Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques
Conduct assessments, standardized testing, and progress monitoring to evaluate student development and adjust instruction accordingly
Collaborate with parents, therapists, counselors, and other educators to ensure comprehensive support for each student
Maintain detailed records of student progress, IEP compliance, and behavioral observations
Use communication skills to engage students actively and foster a nurturing learning environment
Qualifications
Must have a TOSD or TOH certification
