Reconstruction Estimator
Location: San Diego, CA
Base Salary: $80,000–$110,000 + Commission
Commission: 1%–3% Based on Gross Profit Performance
About the Opportunity
A growing and highly active restoration company in the San Diego market is seeking two Reconstruction Estimators to join their team. This organization offers a strong pipeline of insurance-driven reconstruction work, established TPA relationships, and consistent estimate volume.
We are open to both experienced Senior Estimators and motivated estimators looking to grow within a fast-paced restoration environment.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Write detailed and accurate reconstruction estimates
- Review scopes, job documentation, and project details
- Work closely with insurance adjusters, carriers, homeowners, and project managers
- Maintain estimate quality, profitability, and turnaround times
- Assist in managing projects from estimate through approval
- Support production teams with scope clarification and documentation
Project Breakdown
- Approximately 80% Residential / 20% Commercial reconstruction
- Roughly 90% insurance/TPA-driven work
- Average estimate size: ~$28K
- Weekly estimate volume: approximately $200K–$250K
Preferred Experience
Experience with any of the following is highly preferred:
- Xactimate
- Contractors Connection
- Sedgwick
- West Hill
- Lyons Bridge
- SERVPRO systems or similar restoration estimating platforms
Candidates from restoration, reconstruction, insurance, or construction estimating backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Compensation & Benefits
