Under general direction, performs analytical duties in support of the ongoing development and enhancement of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications as well as other specialized departmental computer software, and peripheral equipment; collaborates with department management and functional users to identify opportunities to improve business process automation; recommends system and equipment changes for increased efficiency and effectiveness; coordinates with information technology services (ITS) staff regarding desired enhancements, modifications, and upgrades to systems and applications; and performs other related duties as assigned.
Works under the direct supervision of a department manager.
Does not directly or indirectly supervise other employees but may provide work direction to lower-level employees, temporary employees, and/or student workers.
Work Schedule
Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm, 40 hours per week, 12 months per year
The
Data Operations Analyst position will work in the
Financial Aid department and reports to the Director, Student Financial Aid. It is responsible for providing, developing and maintaining expertise in relational databases in integrated systems troubleshooting and researching problems related to financial aid and student information systems.
The Data Operations Analyst position will work in the Student Services department and reports to the Dean, Student Services. It is responsible for providing, developing, and maintaining expertise in relational databases in integrated systems, trouble shooting and researching problems related to academic counseling, the academic advising module of the college's student information system, as well as software and databases related to student services, counseling, and other student scheduling, appointment, and related activity.
Salary
The Data Operations Analyst classification’s current salary range is R-43.
Starting salary is from Step 1: $6,770.81 to Step 3: $7,464.82 per month depending upon education and experience.
Salary range: Step 1: $6,770.81 to Step 6: $8,641.46 per month (plus longevity where applicable)
