Position Summary
Trained to detect, disarm and dispose of explosive threats in the most extreme environments, EOD technicians bravely serve as the Air Force’s bomb squad. Assigned to some of the most dangerous missions, they perform tactically harrowing and technically demanding tasks in diverse environments worldwide. Qualifications
This job requires military service enlistment in the Air Force Reserve. The application is for a specific position within the Air Force Reserve. To be considered, you must meet the following requirements:
- Completion of high school or GED with 11th-grade reading level required
- Height must be no less than 60 inches and no more than 78 inches
- Successful completion of the EOD Initial Fitness Test (IFT) twice.
- Minimum score of 54 on Predictive Success Model (PSM)
- No record of emotional instability or treatment within the last 12 months
- Ability to receive and maintain a “Top Secret” security clearance
- Completion of 7.5 weeks of Basic Military Training (BMT)
- Must be a U.S. citizen between the ages of 17 and 42 on the date of enlistment
- Must be willing to relocate
