Service Writer & Billing Administrator
Job qualification requirements:
Current Class C (standard license)
Basic typing skills
Basic abilities for the use of word, excel
Dependable, reliable work performance. Frequent calling off work will not be acceptable behavior. To Have good work ethic standards.
Maintain professional attitude and appearance.
Good communication skills.
Willing to grow with company needs/added responsibilities.
Experience with QuickBooks (preferred but not required)
Experience in automotive or trucking industry (preferred but not required)
Billing clerk, job duties to include, but not limited to the following:
- Take notations made by mechanics as to what and how repairs performed and enter onto invoice.
- Create work orders for mechanics, sort out customer pay and warranty type work orders.
- Manage parts invoices and enter part numbers, descriptions and pricing onto work orders for processing.
- Update warranty claims via: web base program, Email.
- Update quotes and work orders as work is being done.
- Keep work orders, invoices filed and organized.
Parts Inventory & ordering assistance
- Aid with re-ordering parts used by technicians for restock
- Entering parts information into billing system inventory
- Pick up of parts needed.
- Identify parts for normally stocking criteria based on usage/history.
Additional miscellaneous office task responsibilities
- Chase driver when trucks being delivered/dropped off. (follow and bring back)
- Aid office manager with filing
- Take orders/answer phones from customers
- Enter payables into QuickBooks
- Send out receivable monthly statements.
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
