Registered Nurse Emergency Department
Location: Utica, New York
Pay Rate: $60/hr
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: Day Shift | 8:30 AM 9:00 PM
Total Working Hours: 36 hours per week
Experience: 2+ years of Emergency Department experience with some Pediatrics experience required
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in Utica, New York. This role requires strong ED clinical experience, travel experience, and the ability to care for a wide patient population, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients.
Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care in a high-volume Emergency Department
Care for patients with stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
Float as required based on unit needs
Use EPIC EMR for accurate patient documentation
Support triage, acute care, trauma, CDU, psychiatric, and fast-track areas as assigned
Maintain patient safety and follow facility protocols
Requirements
Active New York Registered Nurse license required
2+ years of ED experience required
Pediatrics experience required
Travel experience required
Current AHA ACLS, BLS, and PALS required
NIHSS and TNCC required in hand
NURSYS license verification required for active NY license and all RN licenses
ED skills checklist required
Driver's license with address matching demographics required
EPIC EMR experience required
Charge capability highly preferred
RTO must be included at the time of submission
