Duties
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times through vigilant supervision and adherence to safety protocols
- Implement curriculum plans that support childhood development, early education, and preschool readiness
- Assist with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other daily routines for infants and toddlers
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress and needs
- Manage behavior using positive reinforcement techniques and age-specific behavior management strategies
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must successfully pass all required background checks in accordance with Georgia DECAL/BFTS licensing requirements, including a Criminal Records Check (CRC).
- Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, babysitting, nanny, or other caregiving role is preferred.
- Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education practices.
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification is preferred (or willingness to obtain within the required timeframe).
- Experience caring for infants, toddlers, preschool-aged children, or children with disabilities is a plus.
- Strong classroom management and positive behavior guidance skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for nurturing children's growth while creating a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment.
- Must be dependable, punctual, professional, and committed to providing high-quality care for every child.
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, including standing, bending, lifting up to 40 pounds, and actively supervising children indoors and outdoors.

Pay: $12.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
