This is PAY + COMMISSION job.
Join our team as a Cashier/Sales professional in a dynamic retail environment. We are looking for individuals who excel in customer service, cash handling, and sales to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Duties:
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their purchases
- Process product returns and exchanges
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout and back store area
- Promote and demonstrate products to customers during downtime
- Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves
- Handle electronic sales transactions using Point of Sale (POS) systems and laptop (Microsoft EXCEL)
Skills:
- Proficient in cash handling procedures
- Prior experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to address customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively
- Familiarity with operating cash registers and processing transactions accurately
- Knowledge of smoke shop merchandise is advantageous
