American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring a minimum of 2 years of OR experience across various specialties and AHA-certified BLS, ACLS, and PALS.

Experience with various surgical specialties required

Schedule is four 10-hour shifts per day, Monday through Friday (6:30 AM - 5:30 PM)

On-call requirement of one weekend per month and one call day per week

40 hours per week

Active SC or compact RN license required (no pending licenses)

Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS

Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience in a US hospital

Experience across various surgical specialties required

Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required

BSN highly desired
-
Valid US Social Security Number required for consideration

Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer

Date of birth required for consideration

Responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures

Prepares the operating room, assembles equipment and supplies, and ensures all equipment is functional and supplies/implants are available

Adheres to aseptic technique standards and department protocols

Consults and coordinates with team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate intraoperative patient care plans

Serves as a communication liaison between patients, families, and the surgical team

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position

All certifications must be AHA-issued
