Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver innovative, individualized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and tailored to meet the unique needs of each student, including those with developmental disabilities, autism, or visual impairments.
- Implement evidence-based teaching strategies such as applied behavior analysis (ABA), speech therapy techniques, and behavioral management to support student progress.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement, behavior management plans, and classroom routines that promote a safe and inclusive environment.
- Utilize educational technology tools and learning platforms to enhance instruction and student engagement across subjects like literacy, math, physical education, and recreational therapy.
- Conduct assessments, standardized testing, and progress monitoring to evaluate student achievement and inform instructional adjustments.
- Provide mentorship and support to students with disabilities or behavioral health needs, fostering social-emotional growth and independence.
Qualifications
- Proven classroom experience in early childhood education, preschool settings, or special education environments.
