Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry tasks and construction projects. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team. The Carpenter will be responsible for executing a variety of construction tasks, ensuring high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards.
Duties
- Perform full bathroom and kitchen renovations from demolition to final finishes
- Install flooring with accurate measurements and quality craftsmanship
- Build, repair, and install decks and stairs
- Perform interior and exterior painting, including prep, patching, and finish coats
- Execute heavy lifting and material handling on job sites
- Perform metal stud framing for walls and structural components
- Install siding with proper alignment, sealing, and weatherproofing
- Hang and install doors, trim, and hardware with precision
- Lay tile according to design plans and specifications
- Install drywall, including taping, mudding, and sanding as needed
- Perform basic trim, baseboard, and finish carpentry
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized worksite
- Follow job plans, building codes, and safety standards
Skills
- Proficiency in flooring installation techniques.
- 3-5 years of experience
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Familiarity with metal stud framing methods.
- Competence in using hand tools commonly found in carpentry work.
- Skills in siding installation techniques are advantageous.
- Experience in door hanging processes is beneficial.
- Proficiency in tile laying techniques is desirable.
- Strong understanding of drywall installation practices.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
